Understanding The Different Roles

To mirror how a company’s work hierarchy is organized, DigiBanker also has different roles to provide different levels of access depending on the employee’s position. The different roles are:

  1. Maker – initiates transactions, which will then be subject for approval.
  2. Verifier* – ensures that transaction details are correct after being uploaded by the Maker and before it can be seen by Authorizer/s for approval.
  3. Authorizer** – approves transactions uploaded by the Maker and verified by the Verifier.
  4. Releaser* – selects which transactions will be processed first after approval of Authorizer/s.
  5. Funder** – combination of Maker and Authorizer ID; can upload and approve transactions.
  6. Inquirer – for inquiry of accounts and/transactions only; may not initiate or approve transactions.

Notes:

  • * Verifier and Releaser roles are created and setup during the enrollment of the company in DigiBanker.
  • ** For Authorizer and Funder, you can assign different Authorization Levels.
